RAZOR STROPS
These items are still available new . Used ones may be dried out and cracked , sometimes they may be brought back with oil , saddle soap etc . The stitching may also be rotted . Generally , strops need to be modified for spanking use by stiffening the connection between the handle and the length of leather and either removing the metal hanger or holding it down . Cloth backed tape does both jobs well or the hanger may be held by rubber bands .
