Flyswatters are a readily available domestic implement and may be kept on open display . ( Well maybe not in the bedroom . Of course there can be a hole in the flyscreen . )
The cheaper light ones are good for effect and break easily . Many varieties of heavier flyswatters are produced , some are almost indestructible . The only thing to be careful of is sharp edges and corners , as they may damage the skin .

The German food
discounter PLUS sells this week an " electronic fly swatter " labelled
" the original foetsie "
which reminds me strongly of the " zapper " device .
According to the package text the tennis racket like device generates 1500 -
2000 volts between the racket strings at a maximum load of 45 microcoulomb ( the
above seller advertisement says " riskless 1.5 volts " ) .
Not long ago , I was at a party where this lady was on the receiving end of some kind of electric zapper thingy zapping her bottom . It was interesting to watch , but I would personally have no clue what was safe or not ( apparently this thing was adjustable on the zap strength ) . I know for me , if ever I was to " zap " a lady who desired this , I would do the research . Actually , I would learn a lot before I ever attempted something like this . Not something for me though . Interesting learning otherwise .
