The Internet was created in the USA and in part has inherited a US sense of morality , at least as far as some are concerned . This morality is based in the Puritan ethic and can be seen it the approach to sexuality and nudity verses violence in movies and on the stage within the US . Republican ( US - conservative ) Governments seem to be obsessed with this subject .
Obscenity lies with the First World Third World divide , environmental degradation , human rights issues and jingoistic nationalism . These factors have led to two World Wars and the death of millions . Now we are looking at the same factors operating in the various Middle East disputes . Bearing these factors in mind the argument over pornography can be given a sense of proportion and balance which is generally lacking elsewhere .
Spanking , in it's various forms , has been a part of of human existence for thousands of years , no amount of censorship will suppress it . It has it's place in the sun and brings enjoyment to many of all ages throughout the world . A spanking is not necessarily experienced as being painful , it can be quite the opposite . With informed , freely given , adult consent spanking at all but the most severe levels can not be abuse .
Within the spanking community sadists are not particularly popular and tend to be on the fringes .
There is little likelihood of depravity or corruption . In fact there appears to be a lack of masked spankers terrorising the streets of suburbia . The current spate of church run organisational child molestation cases do not seem to involve spanking as a complaint . Most true spankers only have this interest and are the same as the rest of their communities otherwise .
Since the Clinton Administration the Porn Industry has thrived and have really pushed the limits , for no apparent reason other than greed . Spankoz has no support for , or connection with , these people . Not only are they offensive to the average person they are offensive in their internet business practices ( see our CUSTOMER page ) . We particularly object to their misuse of the term SPANKING in the way they promote their sites and products .
Adult spanking can offend some and we , like most sites , make an attempt to warn visitors of our content .

All of the above are true , but this result presumably is the result of a freely consented to activity and is typical of spanking activity . Abstract
The debate amongst feminists over the past two decades concerning the effects of
pornography has created two distinct and equally defiant camps of those who
identify the filmed or photographed depiction of explicit sex as potentially
liberating for women, and those who condemn pornography outright. The solution
for western women who don’t identify with either of these feminist positions,
placing themselves somewhere in the middle in the pornography debates, is, as
outlined by some writers, to consume and enjoy pre-sexual revolution pin-up
imagery. While post-war leg art may be described as an innocent and harmless
alternative to contemporary soft and hardcore pornographic imagery, photographs
of models from this period should not be divorced from the context in which they
were produced. Indeed, a thorough investigation of the professional
relationships of the fifties pin-up queen, Bettie Page,
formed during her modelling career, and the conditions in which she laboured,
reveals a problematic story that many of her contemporary devotees are
apparently prepared to ignore, and begs the question of whether the model’s
work was in fact produced and distributed (even today) in a way that exploited
and caused harm to the model.
Note : This page was written some time ago and now , in 2006 , it seems that general standards have gone down further , led by the media , especially the television and film industry .
