Sheds have an unhappy association with the sort of man who smokes a pipe and wears a cardigan . They are supposed to be full of gardening bits etc. , a quiet retreat . Men tend to like hoarding and hate to throw anything out that may turn out to be useful , one day .
Garages , wine cellars etc may be regarded as sheds by some men . So much for the general notion of what a shed is . They also possess many spanking uses .
Firstly , various strange noises come from them regardless of time of day . Spanking sounds , the noise of manufacturing implements etc may go unnoticed .
Secondly , implements etc may de discretely stored out of view , or something lying around pressed into service .
Thirdly , there generally are " props " in sheds , such as benches to bend over or chairs to sit on .
