Well Jon , that's what I could never figure out , why the suspenders and stockings with the innocent school uniforms . When I went to school we had to wear knee high socks and leather shoes . Suspenders and stockings would have been frowned upon .

It's a geographic and generational thing Debs . I went to school in the UK before your time and all females wore suspenders and stockings from teenage years upwards . Like in the St.Trinian movies except those ' girls ' have rather exaggerated uniforms .
