Movies and Television have been a rich source of spanking material over the years . The idea for this page came from a series of postings at SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SPANKED WIVES which dealt with Televisions Golden Era . This was a time before political correctness had crept into the media . Copies of many of these productions are still available and are an excellent way of introducing spanking to possible spanking partners ( see SPANKING PROSPECTING ) . In general , these are mainstream productions and some feature well known actors .
Several suppliers have produced compilation tapes ( Raven Hill and Leda - Nu West , amongst others ) , the best being the CINEMA SWATS SERIES ( see also VIDEO REVIEW CINEMA SWATS I , II , III , IV , V and VI ) .

Ellen Drew is faking a disability which Ruth Hussey strongly suspects , Melvyn Douglas though does not. suddenly there is a fire in the house , but Ellen stays put insisting she can't walk . Eventually as the fire grows Melvyn Douglas appears and carries Ellen from the house . Ruth says sorry to Melvyn because the fire had started in her lab , Melvyn tells her not to worry as the damage wasn't too bad and he was insured anyway . Then suddenly some water from the fireman's hose is sprayed in their direction . Ruth and Melvyn move out of the way but it goes all over Ellen and soaks her , she then jumps up and starts yelling . Ruth then interrupts and says : " Gerry , a gentleman can't strike a lady , but I can . Claudine has the impossible task of raising her children properly , earning a living , staying on public assistance which she clearly needs , and keeping her lover satisfied and stationary .

Rocky Horror Show
When it comes to spanking in theatrical productions , most of you are probably aware of the classic Kiss Me Kate , and if you follow The Spanking News you might have even heard of the not so well known play Bad Year For Tomatoes , that contains a brief scene as well . Mandingo is a 1975 movie , set in the Southern USA . It has two slave spanking scenes ( censored in some versions ) . are quite right to say that Maureen O'Hara's spanking with a horse whip in
"Flame of Araby" (1951) is nowhere near as good as her spanking in
"McLintock!"
But Ms. O'Hara's film career seemed to span that era when lots of spankings, or
threats, or one-swatters, found a welcome in Hollywood films.
In "How Green Was My Valley" (1941) she smacked the young Roddy
McDowall on his bare bottom, once. Fast forward two decades, and we find her
one-smacking the young Hayley Mills in "The Parent Trap" (1961).
In "Comanche Territory" (1950) she was threatened with a spanking by
her leading man, MacDonald Carey. Though he never delivers on the spanking
threat, he does trap her beneath a saloon table and give her lovely bottom two
lusty kicks.
In "The Long Gray Line" (1955) Ms. O'Hara receives a smack on the
bottom from her co-star Tyrone Power. In "Spencer's Mountain" (1963)
she takes a vigorous smack on the bottom from Henry Fonda.
And, of course, 1963 is the same year she appeared as Katharine McLintock and
was on the receiving end of one of the wildest and most explicit screen
spankings ever, in front of maybe 100 witnesses. "McLintock!" is still
considered the touchstone whenever movie spankings are discussed.
Maureen O'Hara's connection with screen spankings even extends to her being a
witness. In 1965's "The Battle of the Villa Fiorita," she is in the
room when Rossano Brazzi spanks the 14-year-old Olivia Hussey, who is playing
his bratty daughter.
Whatever else may be said of the charming Ms. O'Hara, she is certainly
representative of a certain era of American cinema. And that era contained
spankings -- lots of them.
