The Vacuum Cleaner Salesperson

Last year , my dear wife and daughter were at our beach house while I came back for a city meeting . I drove by our house on the way back . A well dressed girl was at the front door as I drove in . She was in her early 20s , wearing a blue jacket , designer top and jeans and was carrying a vacuum cleaner . Her name was Rebecca or Beck for short .
I said hello as she started her pitch on the front doorstep , I invited her in . She was around 5 ft 9 with blonded hair and spoke with a perfect English accent .
It was worth my time just to listen to her speak , but I also wanted to see her in action with the vacuum cleaner . No doubt she had ideas of
but my devious mind was working more along the lines of

sq in / cm etc. .
Beck's claims about dust mites were interesting . I took her into the study with the filter body . I searched the internet to find out more about dust mites , to my horror , I found that they looked like this :
Using my daughters microscope , I could not see anything looking like this in the residue from the filter . My internet investigation continued and I found the following :
Adult mites are described as white to a light tan in colour ; they are difficult to see with the naked eye , as they measure only 0.5mm in length , and the developmental stages are smaller . The body of the mite is oval shaped and covered with fine striations .
It was obvious that her claim was greatly exaggerated . I had my spanking ammunition !
I would say that is false and deceptive advertising , wouldn't you ? My degree is in Arts , not science , I'm on a working holiday . Well I could ring Consumer Affairs , or the Consumer Watch Program , what do you think ?
